Spray Tanning
I am a huge fan of spray tanning. Fake Bake (my first tanning love) introduced me to the world of looking natural from a bottle, and I haven’t been a sunbaker since. Today we have some fantastic spray tans available to us that will have you looking fabulous and natural. No one needs to know you have a sunless tan. I personally use on my clients and now sell via this website Golden Goddess. It is an organic formula that offers a lovely natural tan that fades like the real thing. It is as good as Fake Bake (my first love) - but better for the skin as it is free from all the nasty ingredients commonly found in Fake Tans. Golden Goddess is also free from Chemical Absorbers found in a few 2hr rapid tans. Spray tanning is done by a trained therapist using an air-brush or spray gun to apply tanning lotion to your skin. An airbrush application will take around 20mins where a spray tan application will take around 5minutes. Most places will supply a disposable g-string to wear, or you can wear your own underwear or swimming costume. Depending on the lotion used, you can normally get dressed again after about 5-10 minutes. It is quick and easy, which is why it has proven to be so popular. 8 hours later you will have a lovely golden tan and be ready for your bikini. There are some tans that develop within 2hrs which are proving very popular due to the fast development time. While the majority of 2hr tans do NOT contain chemical absorbers, some are formulated with them to speed up the tan time. It is best to check with your spray tanner prior to make sure you are not exposing your skin to these chemicals.

Preparing for your tan Now preparing for your spray tan is a major key to getting a great even colour. There are things you can ask the salon or therapist before you tan to avoid looking orange.
