Ok I get it, fake tans are still fake tans, and even if the colour looks natural they still have their fair share of cons. They do make you feel sticky for the 8 hours you have to wear them. They turn your clothes and not to mention sheets brown - which will wash out. They can be a total disaster leaving you with tiger stripes or just looking like a tiger……
……. BUT they will not give you cancer and they will keep you away from the Botox.
If you are thinking of going for a spray tan I advise steering clear of the 2hr Rapid Tans… why?
These products use Chemical Absorbers to accelerate the tanning process. There is no other way that you can get sufficient absorption of the DHA and Eurythulose in under 6 hrs other than by accelerating it's absorption rate. Whatever achieves this outcome, will also be absorbing all the other ingredients and the problem increases as the skin's own waste products are also picked up, to a level that may break the blood barrier and be metabolised in ways that a topically applied ingredient was never meant to.
If you want a SAFE Spray Tan choose one that takes 6-8hrs to develop on the skin.
