Dermalogica Faceblocks

Dermalogica, yes my favourite skin care brand, has just released a new sunscreen range. I am very excited about it. This company is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition in technology and research. They have developed the perfect sunscreen range that combines a moisturizer, SPF and a rich supply of anti-oxidants all in one product. You may have heard me say this before, “sunscreen is the best anti-aging product” and it is without a doubt the first step you should take to prevent pre-mature aging.

Now the thing that makes these Sunscreens in particular so great is the Smart Booster Technology they have developed. The Smart Booster Technology uses a micro-capsule to enclose vitamin E & C keeping them safe. Once the micro-capsule is exposed to UV rays it bursts open and releases the vitamins directly to your skin cells to protect them from free radical damage. This is protecting your skin from further pre-mature aging damage that can be caused by the Sun.

All of the Dermalogica faceblocks are to be used as a daily protection against UV rays and free radicals found in the Sun. They are not waterproof, for the main reason that more chemical would need to be added. So you will need to reapply them regularly if you are outdoors, swimming or exercising.

This sunscreen is recommended for sensitize skin types. It is a physical based sunscreen so it reflects UV rays and is chemical free. It is a lovely light weight sunscreen that applies easily to the skin.

2. Oil Free Matte Block SPF 20, 50ml - acne and oily skin types $59AU

Oily skins, you are going to love this product! It is so nice an light weight you will forget you are wearing it. Your make-up will also apply beautifully over the top. It is a physical & chemical based sunscreen so it will absorb UV rays as well as reflecting them. This is a must for all oily and acne skins this Summer.

3. Solar Defence Booster SPF 30, 50ml - normal skin types $59AU

A favourite of many Dermalogica users - now even better than before as it comes in a larger size. It is a chemical based sunscreen and there is no need to mix with your moisturizer anymore as there is one built in.

4. Extra Rich Face block SPF 30, 50ml - mature skins $62AU

If your skin needs nourishment this is the sunscreen for you. They have Jojoba oil and Shea Butter to nourish and protect the skin. This sunscreen is physical based so it will reflect UV rays and is chemical free.
