Hi my name is Sheryl, and I am the developer of the site tanning-central.com. I started this site to offer you information on tanning so that you can learn how to choose the best tan for you and your skin all year round.

I have worked in the beauty industry for close to 10 years. My first job was at Leonard Drake Skin Care Centre in Mosman, NSW, Australia. This salon is owned by Dermalogica Skin Care, Leonard Drake Salons can be found all over the world. This was an excellent training experience for me, as well as a terrific place to work. I am still an absolute Dermalogica fanatic and I will sing it's praises on my site from time to time.

I also worked overseas at The Spa at the Chateau Whistler, doing treatments on the rich and famous. This was a lovely place to work and let me combine my two passions - beauty therapy & skiing. Since then I have worked at a number of skin care salons as a therapist and in management.

I have worked with lots of different products and tanning lotions over the years. My favourite products include Dermalogica, OPI, Botanical Extracts, Fake Bake, St Tropez & ID Bare Minerals. I may talk or suggest products from the ranges I love on my site.

I started spray tanning about 3 years ago, after I discovered Fake Bake. I was spray tanned by a sales rep for the company and from then on I was hooked. Now that I am a stay at home Mum, I have converted my spare bathroom into my spray tanning head quarters. I have a nice client base who also love the Fake Bake spray tan.

I am a big fan of a natural looking tan so I am also extremely picky when it comes to the product I use. I hope my knowledge can help you discover a natural looking sunless tan to suit you, as well as providing you with all the information you need on tanning.
